Roses and rosewater have been used for perfume and scent for centuries. Antiseptic, with a light scent that refreshes and uplifts. A natural skin hydrator and restorer, a spray of rose water leaves your skin feeling fresh, soft and cool.
MALT & FIG Rosewater is 100% Bulgarian Rose Hydrosol with only the addition of rose hip oil and glycerol for their added barrier, hydrating and moisture rich properties
Whether you have oily, dry or combination skin, rose water can be added to your beauty regime.
we have made the bottles in a 50ml size so you can keep it in your bag and used throughout the day or on a plane trip when you need a quick re-hydrate.
This can also be used as a great toner, after cleansing or before applying moisturisers and makeup.
Directions For Use
SHAKE WELL BEFORE EACH USE! This is to blend the Rose hip and Glycerol into the water prior to spraying.
Either, wash your face with warm water, pat dry with a towel and spray mist all over. Let sit for 5 mins before applying a moisturiser or makeup. Or, you can simply spray throughout the day whenever you need a cool, refreshing and hydrating touch up. My favourite is to use on a long plane trip to re-hydrate dry skin from cabin air conditioning.
External Use only. Changing Skin routines can cause initial breakouts as the skin adjusts and impurities are removed, however if your skin burns or becomes irritated discontinue use immediately!
100% Pure (Bulgarian) Rose Hydrosol, Glycerol, Rosehip Oil
100% Rose Hydrosol: Also known as Rosewater is produced via steam-distillation of fresh rose petals, hand picked from the Bulgarian Valley of Roses. Our Rosewater is pure and undiluted. The hydrosol of rose petals has been used for thousands of years and is one of the all-time best and most traditional facial cleansers and has multiple skin-care uses. 100% natural rose hydrosol balances skin pH levels, evens out the skin tone and controls excess oil. It is a great toner for everyday use and suits all skin types but is especially Ideal for mature, delicate, fragile, devitalised skin. Rose water helps hydrate, revitalise and moisturise the skin giving it with that refreshed look. Due to its antibacterial properties, rose water also aids in healing scars, cuts and wounds, and the antioxidant properties help to strengthen skin cells and regenerate skin tissues.
Rose hip Oil: Is harvested from the seeds of rose bushes, and is full of vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids. It is rich in Vitamin A, which is known to help fight against age spots and wrinkles, rose hip oil is great for anti-ageing. It's also packed with molecules that are small enough to penetrate deep layers of the skin, improving moisture and collagen levels, while reducing wrinkles and fine lines. The astringent properties in rose hip oil and Vitamin C, help to tighten your pores and brighten your skin.
Glycerol (Glycerine): Is commonly used in skin care products due to its outstanding moisturising properties. Glycerine is well-loved as a lotion and soap ingredient because it's a humectant. A humectant is a substance that pulls water from the second layer of the skin and brings it to the top layer of the skin. If the humidity is high, humectants also draw moisture from the air. As a result, glycerine hydrates skin, helps you shed dead skin cells and gives your skin a smooth, youthful glow. There are many benefits of glycerine in skin care, whether you have oily skin, sensitive skin or dry skin. All-natural, pure glycerine skin care products also have no harmful impact on the environment. Glycerine is oil-free and non-comedogenic, meaning it won't clog your pores.
